Burn Suspension Lifted 11/03/26 8:00AM

Effective Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 0800 hours, CAL FIRE Nevada-Yuba-Placer Unit (NEU) lifted the residential burn suspension in Nevada, Yuba, and Placer counties. This also includes lifting restrictions on all outdoor cooking and heating appliances. Residential burn permits will continue to be required.

The lifting of residential burn suspension does not supersede air district regulations or designated no-burn days. Residents remain responsible for obtaining applicable permits and verifying that burning is authorized before conducting residential burning, and that burning is conducted in a responsible and lawful manner.
