Each year, Santa Claus arrives in style, riding atop a fire engine to visit the young believers of Olympic Valley. This cherished tradition marks the start of the holiday season, and we eagerly anticipate the joy it brings to our community.
Pancake Breakfast
On the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, the Olympic Valley Fire Department proudly supports the Valley’s annual clean-up day by hosting a delicious pancake breakfast at the Fire Station. After enjoying a hearty meal, community volunteers come together to clean up roadside waste and litter, making our neighborhood shine.
Fourth of July Parade
Join us as the Olympic Valley Fire Department participates in the Town of Truckee’s Fourth of July Parade. Our smallest neighbors have the special opportunity to ride along in our beloved 1960 Van Pelt Engine 1, affectionately known as Granny, celebrating the spirit of independence with pride and tradition.
